  • Softer skin
  • Removes dead skin
  • Provides a nice cleanse

  • Absorbs a moderate amount of the oil
  • Can sometimes leave a white residue
  • Not recommended for people who have dry skin

I actually don't recommend any brand of face wash or even facial scrub for that matter. I'm getting into this later, but when it comes to the face, I used to recommend a mix of castille soap and distilled water which work wonderfully for cleaning. These days, I simply use a plain castile soap for cleansing and exfoliation.

When it comes to cleansing, the key is to remove everything and then allow your skin to breathe. You can then use a mild, moisturizing wash, or preferably a face mist, designed for that purpose.

Sunscreen will leave a film on your skin and make cleansing more difficult. I'm not a fan of using one so I just use an oil-free moisturizer in the morning. The Oil-Free Moisturizer tends to be a lot lighter than a regular moisturizer so even if you used one at night, it's probably good enough for daytime use. I still don't recommend wearing sunscreen all the time if you're outdoors, but I'll stick to a completely natural sunscreen.
